Before you buy

Ask whether it’s solid wood throughout, and how the legs join the seat. What good joinery looks like.
Ask what finish is used and how to maintain it. Oil versus film finishes.
For made-to-order pieces, confirm the lead time, deposit and whether the order can be cancelled.
Check delivery method and your doorways before ordering. What to expect.
